Efficiency of Notification.—The ratio of non - notified tuberculosis
deaths to total tuberculosis deaths was one in nine.
It was not necessary to take any action in regard to the nonnotification
of tuberculosis during the year.
Public Health (Prevention of Tuberculosis) Regulations, 1925.—
No action was taken under the above Regulations, which relate to
tuberculous employees in the milk trade.
Tuberculosis Dispensary.—The Council's Dispensary is situated
at 47, Catford Hill, S.E.6.
Particulars of the sessions held are shown in the following table: —

Plans have been prepared and approved by the Ministry of
Health and the London County Council for the provision of a new
Tuberculosis Dispensary to be erected on a portion of the Priory
Site.
The present dispensary was established in 1916 in a private
dwelling house rented by the Council. Later, in 1920, the freehold
was purchased. In 1925 the adjoining house, No. 45, Catford Hill,
was purchased, but only a small part of these premises is available
for use at the present time.
Both these houses have become structurally dangerous and in a
very bad state of repair, and temporary works have been carried out
to render them safe for a short period.
The new Tuberculosis Dispensary building will be built at the
rear of the Maternity and Child Welfare Clinic, and will have a
frontage to Blagdon Road, from which it will be entered, so that
both the entrances and the buildings for the two services will be
separate. The building will consist of two floors, the ground floor
being allocated for the actual dispensary work, whilst the first floor
