Downham Ante-natal Clinic. This Clinic is held at the Downham
Health Centre on one morning each week. During the year
123 women attended, the total attendances amounting to 326.
Post-Natal Clinic.—This Clinic has been held throughout the
year on Tuesday mornings. Of the 206 mothers delivered in the
Municipal Maternity Home, 191 attended for post-natal examination.
X-Ray Examinations.—Durng the year six X-Ray examinations
of pregnant women were carried out at St. John's Hospital.
Treatment Clinics for Mothers and Infants.
These Clinics are held on four mornings in each week at the
Wesleyan Hall, Rushey Green, Catford, which is rented by the
Council for this purpose, and one morning in each week at the
Downham Health Centre.
The Clinics are attended by one of the Maternity and Child
Welfare Medical Officers and two Health Visitors at each session.
