Table B. shows the work carried out by the Health
Visitors, who keep in regular touch with all notified cases of
tuberculosis and also gain their attendance at the Dispensary
when thought desirable. An effort is made by them to have
the contacts of notified patients brought to the Dispensary for
examination, and during the year 263 contacts were thus
examined at the Dispensary, while 317 were seen by the
Tuberculosis Officer at their own homes.
Table C. shows the condition on December 31st, 1924,
of all patients diagnosed as suffering from pulmonary tuberculosis,
who have attended the Dispensary since its establishment
in June, 1916.
