REPORT
OF THE
TUBERCULOSIS OFFICER (Dr. Rose Jordan)
For the Year 1924.
During the year 1924, there were 347 primary notifications
of tuberculosis in the Borough, of which '274 were of
pulmonary tuberculosis and 73 of other forms of tuberculosis.
During the same period 127 persons died from pulmonary tuberculosis
and 15 from other forms of tuberculosis, the death-rate
thus being 0.68 per 1000 inhabitants, as compared with 0.76
per 1000 in 1923.
