from control. The second sample, of carbolic oil, proved to be a
poison, and the attention of the seller was drawn to the fact that
it had been sold in a manner contrary to the Poisons Rules.

Chemical and Bacteriological Examination of FoodParticulars of the 2,000 samples of Food and Drugs procured for analysis by the Public Analyst will be found in the following table.
