is by high blocks of flats and a school, it is practically impossible, under
present conditions, to deal adequately with the matter.
With the present method of fat extraction it is very doubtful if any
further improvement can be effected, but an alternative method is being
explored, which, if successful, would almost entirely remove the nuisance.
Rodent Control
One Rodent Supervisor and two Operators were employed throughout
the year under the general direction of the Senior Sanitary Inspector,
and the following tables summarise the work carried out:—
