Unsatisfactory Samples.
Of the 79 formal samples taken for analysis, four samples (5.1 per
cent.) were reported by the Public Analyst to be not up to the required
standard. In the case of informal samples, 377 were taken of which
eight (2.1 per cent.) were found to be not up to standard.
Three informal samples of fish paste were deficient in fish content.
Additional samples were taken which were satisfactory. No further
action was considered necessary.
