The history of previous pregnancies ending in miscarriage, premature birth, or still birth is
given in the following Table, both for the mothers of children who survived, and for the mothers
of children who died of prematurity. Illegitimate children are again excluded.

are included the number of "Total Preganancies." The term "Previous Pregnancies" refers to the preganancies preceding
the conception of children who died of prematurity in 1909-11, or who were born in 1910-11 and survived to the end of the
year of birth.
