INFANT MORTALITY.
There were 37 deaths of infants under one year of age in Chelsea during
the year. The correct death rate is 52 per 1,000 births, as compared
with 42 in 1931.
In London as a whole the rate of infant mortality was 66 per 1,000'
births.

The causes of death in the various age groups are set out in Table No. 15 :—
