Mass Miniature Radiography.
The Mass Miniature Radiography Unit administered by the
South East Metropolitan Regional Hospital Board returned to
Camberwell during the year and was established at premises in
Rye Lane, Peckham, from 31st August to 4th October. The
Public Health Department again co-operated in publicising
this free and confidential service which is available to any person
who desires to take advantage of the facilities it offers for an
X-ray examination of the chest. The Unit was operated on an
appointment basis and evening sessions were held for persons
who were unable to attend during the day.

Dr. F. D. Beddard, the Medical Director of the Unit, has kindly provided the following particulars in respect of the work carried out in Camberwell during 1950.

In addition, 5 women and 12 men were referred to their
private medical practitioners for other abnormalities found.
Annual Report of the Camberwell Tuberculosis Care
Committee for the year 1950.
This is the first Annual Report of the Camberwell
Tuberculosis Care Committee since the administration of the
care and after-care of tuberculous persons was transferred to
the London County Council by the National Health Service
Act, 1946. This transfer took place on 5th July, 1948.
