Outworkers.
Section 110 of the Factories Act, 1937, requires employers of
home workers to forward to the local authority in February and
August each year a list of the names and addresses of all such
workers employed by them during the preceding six months.
Section 111 empowers the local authority to prohibit by notice
the giving out of work to be done in a place dangerous to the
health of the persons employed there, e.g. insanitary premises,
or premises in which dangerous infectious disease is present.
