POST-NATAL AND SPECIAL CLINICS FOR WOMEN.
The total number of attendances at the Gynaecological
Clinic was 305 ; of these 94 patients attended for the first time.
The majority of the patients were suffering from some
gynaecological disorder and were either treated at the clinic or
recommended to their own doctor or hospital.
The sixteen patients who were not suitable for the clinic were
referred back to their own doctor.
Seven patients sought advice for sterility.
Twenty-four patients attended on account of menstrual
irregularities, and the remainder were suffering from some minor
disorder due to menopause, such as backache, high blood pressure,
and displacements.
