The reports of the medical officers of health of Bethnal Green and Woolwich contain detailed
statements relating to the Brady-street area and the High-street flats area situate in those boroughs.
Further reference to these areas will be found in Chapter XXVII.
Some of the annual reports make reference to special housing problems arising in connection
with accommodation of soldiers and refugees.
