Violence was the cause of 184 deaths during the year, in the three preceding
years the numbers were 162, 71 and 181.
UNCERTIFIED DEATHS.
The number of uncertified deaths registered in St. Pancras in 1897 was 2, in
1896, 1895 and 1894, the numbers were 5, 3 and 8.
