Whooping Cough.
Eight deaths occurred from Whooping Cough as against 16 in
1914. The mortality rate per 1000 of the population was .09. The
total number of visits paid to cases of Whooping Cough by the two
Lady Sanitary Inspectors was 35.
Diarrhœa and Enteritis.
The deaths at all ages from diarrhœa and enteritis in Hampstead
during 1915 numbered 18. Of these 14 occurred during the first year
of life. The deaths in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters of the year
were as follows:—5, 4, 4, 1, The deaths from these diseases at various

PREVALENCE OF AND CONTROL OVER
TUBERCULOSIS.
The number of deaths from tuberculosis in 1915 was 71. Of
these 48 deaths were due to pulmonary tuberculosis, 9 to tuberculous
meningitis and 14 to other forms of tuberculosis.
