during 1900:—Chicken-pox, 708; Measles, 1601; Whooping Cough, 761; Consumption, 1152; Cancer, 5; other
diseases (e.g., Mumps, Influenza, Pneumonia, Scabies, Gangrene, Dropsy, etc.), 154.
*Plague was made notifiable on September 19th. 1900.
