FACTORIES, WORKSHOPS AND WORKPLACES.
During the year there were 107 inspections of factories, 680 inspections of
workshops and 2,748 of workplaces. 294 Intimation Notices for sanitary defects
were served and 36 Statutory Notices.
The following table gives the changes that have taken place during the year,
details of the number of premises on the Register at the end of the year, number
of inspections, etc.
