The proportion of children born in 1908, not finally accounted
for, including cases postponed, amounted to 19.0 per
cent, of the total births, a higher proportion than in any previous
year, and there was again a marked increase in the number of
conscientious objectors.
The following table shows the proportion of unvaccinated
children during the ten years 1898-1907:—
