Cancer.
To this disease were ascribed 303 deaths, 115 males and 188 females, which
represent a death-rate of 0.86 per 1,000. This return is the largest, with one
exception, of any that has been recorded during the previous nine years ; and it is
also 44 above^the uncorrected average.
