The efficiency of notification is satisfactory, and
there were no deaths of unnotified cases during 1931.
Sanatoria .—Beds are available for advanced cases at Orsett Infirmary, while the County Council maintain establishments at High Beech, Chingford, Black Notley and Harold Court. Patients from the Rural District were admitted as follows:—

Public Health (Prevention of Tuberculosis) Regulations
1925.—No Action was found to be necessary
during the year under the above regulations.
Public Health Act, 1925, Sec. 62.—No action
was taken during the year, all cases to which the Section
applies consenting to voluntary removal to Hospital.
During the year efforts have been made to impress
upon patients attending the Dispensary the necessity
of home disinfection after removal, death, or admission
to Sanatorium, and disinfection of rooms occupied by
such cases after death or removal to Sanatorium is
carried out as a routine.
