Special Noteworthy Causes of Sickness or Invalidity.
The foregoing table shows that, although yearly fluctuations occur,
the most common causes of death, in descending sequence, are associated
with the circulatory and respiratory systems and with malignant
disease, the commonest single cause of death being heart disease.

The following Table expresses as percentages of the total mortality the incidence in the various age groups:—
