in each of the last ten years. It will be seen that in 1905 the smallest
number of notifications were received during that period, yet, though
the number received during 1906 was 225 more, I am glad to say we
are 181 below the average for the last ten years :—

These fees are repaid to the Sanitary Authority by the Metropolitan
Asylums Board.
BACTERIOLOGICAL EXAMINATIONS.
The arrangement for the bacteriological examination and report
upon doubtful cases of Diphtheria and Enteric Fever, was renewed by
the Council with the Clinical Research Association of No. 1 Southwark
Street, London Bridge.
