Births.
The total number of births occurring in the Borough was
3,240, including 394 non-residents who were born in Institutions.
1,351 births of Borough residents occurred outside the Borough,
so that the corrected number of births was 4,197 compared with
4,334 in 1931.
In Table II. is shown the number of births, males and
females, the birth-rate, and the rate of natural increase, for each
sub-district, and for the whole Borough.
