The total number of addresses received from other Councils
was 489, and 111 addresses were forwarded to other Councils.
The number of addresses received has decreased by 46 and the
number sent decreased by 20. 20 names and addresses were
forwarded to this Borough in error.
The number of notices sent to employers during the year
was 33, and these had a most satisfactory result.
During the year '27 cases of infective diseases— three of
Diphtheria, five of Scarlet Fever four of Pneumonia, and 15
of Whooping Cough—were notified as having occurred in the
homes of out-workers. In none of these cases was it necessary
to make any order under Section 110 of the Factory and Workshop
Act.
