TUBERCULOSIS.
Notification.—The total number of new cases of Tuberculosis
which came to the notice of the Department during
1931 was 613, as compared with 638 in 1980, 690 in 1929, 660 in
1928, 718 in 1927, 706 in 1926, 643 in 1925, 692 in 1924 and 597
in 1923.
The sources of information regarding the 618 new cases
notified in 1931 were as follows:—
Primary notifications on Form A 512
Primary notifications on Form B
Transfers from other Sanitary Authorities 101
Naval and military notifications
Total 618
Un-notified at death 86
Table XX.—In the form suggested by the Ministry of
Health—gives details regarding the site of disease, sex, and
age grouping of these new cases; also similar details regarding
