70/74, Ambergate Street. Newly built depot and cold store, for sale
of bottled milk on rounds.
Rear of 49/53, Surrey Row. Newly built depot for sale of bottled
milk on round.
2, Clapton Buildings. New dairy being constructed rear of shop.
BUTTER AND MARGARINE FACTORIES, ETC.
4 inspections were made and 6 samples of butter procured for
analysis. Certified genuine.
1 inspection of Wholesale Dealer in margarine.
There are 19 Wholesale Dealers in margarine in the Borough. 1 was
registered and 1 discontinued during the year.
PUBLIC HEALTH (CONDENSED MILK) REGULATIONS
1923—7.
12 samples of condensed milk were purchased under the said
Regulations and were certified by the Public Analyst to be satisfactory.
COWSHEDS.
No cows are kept in the Borough.
MERCHANDISE MARKS ACT 1926 AND ORDERS.
PUBLIC HEALTH (PRESERVATIVES, ETC., IN FOOD)
REGULATIONS.
FOOD AND DRUGS (ADULTERATION) ACT, 1928,
PART II, Etc.
Special attention has been given at the various shops, etc., when
purchasing samples, or when inspecting, in regard to the carrying out of
the requirements of the above Acts and Orders, etc.
Where necessary the Orders have been explained and the Occupiers
cautioned.
This has had the desired effect in the carrying out of the said
requirements, etc.
