(1) The ratio of non-notified tuberculosis deaths to total tuberculosis deaths is
1 in 13.
This figure is represented in 13 deaths; of this number 9 were found to be
suffering from tuberculosis as a result of post-mortem examination, and 4 died in
institutions outside the Borough.
There is no evidence of wilful neglect on the part of the private practitioner to
notify, neither is there evidence of excessive incidence of or mortality from tuberculosis,
in any particular occupation in the Borough.
