SCHICK TESTING AND IMMUNISATION CLINIC.
This Clinic was held as usual on Thursday afternoons at Sutherland
House.
A somewhat lengthy description as to the value of this preventive
work was given in last year's Annual Report, and I made suggestions
to the Council which I hoped would help to educate the citizens of the
Borough on the subject, and so increase the work of this Clinic.
An intensive campaign was launched in the early part of the year,
and still continues, and there is evidence, from the figures which
follow, that the desired result is gradually being brought about. The
number of persons immunised for the year under review has increased
in comparison with the previous year.
