DIARRHŒA.
It is gratifying to learn that the number of deaths from Diarrhœa
occurring during the year is lowest in the history of the Borough.
In Southwark, Summer Diarrhoea is notifiable during the months o
July, August and September, and in these three months, only one case
was notified; which was sent to hospital.

WHOOPING COUGH.
This disease has not been quite so prevalent during the year, tho
number of fatal cases being 10 as against 49 in 1929.

INFLUENZA.
The number of deaths from this disease is less than might be
expected. A slight epidemic during the latter part of the year made its
appearance, but fortunately a change in the weather was an important
factor in its abatement.
