Gentlemen,
I beg to present the following report on the work of the Public Health
Department during the year ending 31st December, 1897, showing the number of
premises inspected, the nature of nuisances under notice, and the orders made for
their abatement.
Notices were served requiring the abatement of nuisances in 2,209 premises.
