FLUSHING COURTS AND GULLIES.
The cost of flushing the Courts and Gullies with water direct from the mains
through a 2¼-inch hose was, for water, £268 15s. 10d., and £76 10s. for labour,
the East London Company's district being done in the day-time and the New
River Company's district in the night-time.
