THE TOWN HALL.
Daring the year the Large Hall has boon let 153 times; the
Council Chamber 13 times; the Committee Rooms have boon used
by Local Societies, mostly free of charges.
The receipts for letting Hall, Council Chamber, and Committee
Rooms were £1,026 2s. 0d.
VESTRY AND COMMITTEE MEETINGS.

The number of Vestry and Commit too Meetings held during the year ended April 30th, 1883, is as follows—

OFFICIAL CHANGES.
In January last the Vestry lost, by death, the services of one
of its most valuable officers, Mr. Chas. Davis, Assistant and
Accountant Clerk, the arrangements consequent were made
probationary for six months.
Mr. Fletcher, the Inspector of Nuisances, resigned his office at
Midsummer in this year, owing to favourable circumstances
affecting himself. Tho Vestry has appointed Mr. Reid Assistant
Inspector under Mr. Alexander, the Chief Inspector.
