To the Medical Officer of Health.
Sir,
Herewith I have pleasure in presenting to you a report of the work done during the
year 1907 in reference to Restaurant Kitchens and Outworkers' premises.
During that period 3,056 calls and inspections have been made, as follows :—
Inspections of Restaurant Kitchens 723
Re-inspections and calls 655
Inspection of Homeworkers' premises 937
Re-inspections and calls 741

279 Notices were served to cover 847 defects.
272 Workroom cards delivered specifying cubic space.
Restaurant Kitchens.—452 Kitchens, with 593 Workrooms were on the register at the
close of the year. At the beginning of the year there were 336; of these 22 have been
closed.
