Servants sent to the Hospital by employers are charged for
according to the rateable value of the employers' houses, but with
a maximum of £1 is. per week.
In several cases the fee is remitted if it is thought desirable
by the Council to do so.
Diagnostic Test The number of specimens of secretion and blood submitted
to the Clinical Research Association and the Jenner Institute of
Preventive Medicine during the year in doubtful cases of Diphtheria,
and Typhoid or Enteric Fever, and the results of examination
were as follows: —
