Repairs and replacements have been carried out in 91 instances.
Blind, Deaf and Epileptic Children.
Ascertainment of defective children is made at school inspections
by the medical officers, and by school teachers, attendance officers, school
nurses and health visitors. Occasionally information is received from
parents and from other districts from which the children have been
transferred.
