The fatality from Diphtheria considerably exceeded
that from Scarlet Fever, and basing our figures upon
the cases which occurred during the year 1913, the fatality
rate was 9.30 per cent.
The deaths from Diphtheria numbered 24, which, with
a population of 145,730, gives a death rate of 16.
