over deaths, is 383, compared with 307 in 1903.
Deaths and Death Rates.
Whole District.
The total number of Deaths registered, at all ages, and from
all causes, during the year, was 195. This number includes the
deaths of persons dying in the Workhouse and Isolation Hospital,
and various London Hospitals, from your District (13), and of
strangers dying within the district but not belonging thereto.
The Death.rate for the whole District, calculated on the
estimated population at the middle of 1904 is 12.3 per 1,000, which
is equivalent to one death registered for every 807 persons of the
population.
