Notifications of Tuberculosis received
during: the Year 1913.
73 Notifications of Tuberculosis were received during the
year, viz.:
61 Notifications of Pulmonary tuberculosis (39 males and 22
females), and
12 Notifications of Non-Pulmonary tuberculosis (4 males and 8
females).
150 Visits were made to the homes of Tubercular patients
during the year.

The following table shows the age periods, etc., of the cases notified :

As will be observed from the foregoing table:
16-4 per cent. of the cases notified occurred in persons between
5 and 15 years.
21-9 per cent. of the cases notified occurred in persons between
15 and 25 years,
42 4 per cent. of the cases notified occurred in persons between
25 and 45 years.
18 out of the 73 cases notified, died, and 9 had left the district
at the end of the year.
