The rainfall for the year in Richmond was 36.13 inches, as
compared with 21.2 inches for 1902, 17.54 inches for 1901, and 21.16
inches for 1900. June, July, and October were the wettest months,
there being only three days of the latter month when rain did not
fall. In eleven days of rain during the month of June over six.and.
a.half inches of rain fall were recorded.
There were 18 more days on which rain fell during the year
1903 than during 1902, and 65 more days than during the year 1901.
