The Slaughter-houses, Cowshed, Dairies, Milkshops and
Lodging Houses have been visited at various times and found in
a satisfactory condition.
Markets.
All the stalls have been kept under close observation, and
there has been no cause for complaint.
During the year the following articles outside the precincts of
the market have been condemned :—
106 lbs. of Beef. 82 lbs. of Ox Livers.
3 Sheep. 18 lbs. Beef Kidneys.
36 Sheeps Plucks. 20 lbs. of Tripe.
64 lbs. of Lamb. 3 cases of Herring.
12 lbs. of Lambs Tongues. 2 cases of Mackerel.
5 Ox Tongues. 6 bushels of Winkles.
101 Ox Tails. 167 Rabbits.
17 lbs. Ox Sweetbreads. 24 Chickens.
4 boxes of Tomatoes.
