CANAL BOATS ACTS, 1877 AND 1884.
The following is the Annual Report on the administration of
the above Acts in the form required by Section 3 of the Canal
Boats Act, 1884 :—

Sir,
In accordance with Section 3 of the Canal Boats Act,
1884, I beg herewith to present the Annual Report for the
year ending December 31st, 1910, as to the execution of the
Canal Boats Acts, 1877 and 1884, and of the Regulations
made thereunder, within the Urban District of Heston and
Isleworth, Middlesex.
James Isaac Smith, whose office is at the Council House,
Hounslow, continued to act as Canal Boat Inspector during
the year. He receives £20 per annum as Inspector of Canal
Boats and Inspector of Dairies, Cowsheds and Milkshops.
Three hundred and six inspections were made of 211
boats. On 28 of these boats, 44 infringements of the Acts
and Regulations were found as under :—
