Annual Report of the Chief Sanitary Inspector.
To His Worship the Mayor, the Aldermen and
Councillors of the Borough of East Hani.
Mr. Mayor and Gentlemen,
I have the honour to present to you my fifteenth
annual report of the work done by the Sanitary Inspectors
during the year ended 31st December, 1910.
Inspection of the Borough and Abatement of Nuisances.—It
is with pleasure I bring before your notice details of the work
which the Inspectorial Staff has executed during the year under
consideration to render the Borough more healthy and to improve
its sanitation. The efficiency of the work is best judged by the
healthy condition of the Burgesses and the low death rate
which has prevailed in the Borough for many years. Reference
to the table tabulating the sanitary defects dealt with will
establish the usefulness and practicability of the Work
performed.

In investigating complaints lodged, notification of infectious diseases received, house to house inspections, etc., 4,867 primary visits to premises were made as under:-
