There is a falling off of seven cases from the previous year.
By referring to the five preceding years it will be seen that it is
from July to November, when the disease is usually most prevalent.

There has been a lower number of cases this year than during
the previous six years notwithstanding the increase of population.
The case mortality is the highest for eight years, indicating
that the disease has been severe.
