PROSECUTIONS.
Four summonses were issued during the year for various
offences under the Public Health and Canal Boats Acts, and in each
instance a conviction was recorded. Other prosecutions were ordered
but proceedings were stayed as the nuisances were abated or the
work required to be done was put in hand after intimation of
intended proceedings had been given to the persons concerned.
