made by the Medical Officer of Health, to determine the cause of the low
composition of the Stepney milk supply.

The above figures are disappointingly low when compared with the results
obtained in other parts of the country.
Samples of milk which are slightly below the legal standard of composition
are reported as " Genuine, poor quality, slightly deficient in solids.not-fat."
