Zeebrugge-Harwich Train Ferry.
At Bishopsgate Goods Station.—110 special midnight and early morning
visits were made by the Sanitary Inspectors.
The total weight of fruit and vegetables examined was 10,306 tons. This
was of Belgian, Italian, Dutch, French, Hungarian, Jugo-Slavian, Spanish
and Czecho-Slovakian origin.
Poultry and Rabbits of Italian and Hungarian origin were also examined,
and samples of Belgian Fruit Pulp were taken for analysis.
At Spitalfelds Goods Station.—Eggs of Belgian and Italian origin were
examined at Spitalfields Goods Station.
