The number of bodies deposited in the Mortuary during the year was 298.
34 Jewish bodies were officially "watched." 205 inquests were held in
the Coroner's Court, and 131 post-mortem examinations were made.
The shelter is used for the accommodation of contacts of infectious disease
while their homes are being disinfected. During the year there were 18 persons
admitted to the shelter: 9 adults and 9 children.

Eight inspections were made during the year to premises subject to the
provisions of these Acts. One sample of rag flock was examined and found to
be satisfactory.
There are 19 cowsheds in the Borough licensed to accommodate a total of
493 cows. During the year, 135 inspections were made to the cowsheds, but it
was only found necessary to serve two notices for defects or nuisances under the
Rag Flock
