"Resolved, that Mr. Carr-Gomm's letter be entered on the Minutes of the
"Vestry."
The Commissioners of the Baths and Wash-houses have caused a Tablet to be
erected on the main front of the Baths, Lower-road, recording the before-mentioned
Jubilee Gift of Mr. and Mrs. Carr-Gomm, with an inscription thereon, as follows
viz.:—
On the 24th day of June, 1887,
In commemoration of the Jubilee of the Reign of Her Most Gracious Majesty
QUEEN VICTORIA.
Emily Blanche Carr-Gomm, the wife of Francis Culling Carr-Gomm, Esquire,
presented the freehold site of these Public Baths and Wash-houses to the
Commissioners, for the Benefit of the Parish of Rotherhithe.
