Drains and other Works.
One hundred and twenty-two feet run of 9" stoneware
main pipe-drain, embedded in concrete with
outlet into sewer in Irongate Wharf Road, has been
laid under footway pavement on the North side of
Praed Street, with separate drain connections from ten
new shop premises West of Irongate Wharf Road,
recently erected by Messrs. Thomas & Taylor for the
Grand Junction Canal Company.
The main drain has three brick man-holes and
intercepting syphoned trap, in accordance with order
of Vestry.
