REPORT
OF THE
Commissioners for Public Baths and Washhouses
FOR THE
PARISH OF PADDINGTON,
For the Year ending 31 st March, 1892.
The Commissioners in submitting their Annual Statement
of Accounts to the 31st March, 1892, duly audited,
have to report:—
That there has been a slight increase in the Receipts
for the year, amounting to £90 is. 8d. The Expenditure
has been very heavy, owing to the necessity (foreshadowed
in last Report) of laying down three new Boilers, which
are further referred to under the head of Machinery. This
has entailed an expenditure of upwards of £1,100, of
which £646 has been paid in the Financial year under
review, and with the extra charge of £313 for Rates and
Taxes, in consequence of the increased Assessment on
the premises, has obliged the Commissioners to make a
Supplemental Call upon the Vestry for £500.
